The third Boeing B737-800 of US-Bangla Airlines arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on March 1. The joining of the 164-seat aircraft including eight in Business Class to its fleet will help the airline implement it’s plans to operate to more destinations in Asia.
The new Boeing brings the total number of aircraft in the airline’s fleet to six. The airline also operates three 64-seat Dash8-Q400s.
US-Bangla Airlines started flights to Kuala Lumpur on March 1 and will operate flights to Singapore from March 9. The airline already serves Kathmandu, Kolkata and Muscat and hopes to operate flights to Bangkok, Doha and Guangzhou soon.
Just within two and a half years of its operation, US-Bangla Airlines has already operated over 22 thousand flights successfully on domestic and international routes, which stands as a landmark in the aviation industry of Bangladesh.
Currently more than 200 flights are being operated weekly by US-Bangla Airlines. It is the only private airlines to provide services to every airport of Bangladesh.
